 I am the founder and owner of Threading by Amna Inc., a New York–based beauty brand defined by precision, discipline, and elevated artistry. With over 22 years in the industry, I have evolved from a specialist behind the chair into an entrepreneur and global educator—shaping not only faces, but the direction of modern brow and lash artistry.

My philosophy is rooted in refinement. Beauty is not about excess or transformation—it is about balance, structure, and individuality. Through years of experience, I have developed signature techniques that enhance natural features with intention, creating results that are both timeless and technically precise.

Beyond my studio, I have built an ecosystem. Through international education, I mentor artists to elevate their standards, master their craft, and think like entrepreneurs. Together with Prof. Mudassar Minhas, I created NYC Lash Elite—a global platform positioned at the intersection of luxury, education, and recognition, bringing together the industry’s most driven artists and innovators.

My journey began with a fascination for facial symmetry and structure. Threading was my foundation—it trained my eye for precision and discipline. From there, I expanded into advanced techniques, education, and creative leadership, building a career that moves seamlessly between artistry and strategy.

 What drives me is not just visible transformation, but emotional impact—the quiet confidence that comes when someone feels aligned with their appearance. That shift is powerful, and it continues to inspire everything I create.

My creative process is highly intentional. I begin with analysis—structure, proportion, and identity. From there, I curate a look that aligns with both the individual and the creative direction. Whether minimal or editorial, every detail is calculated, every decision purposeful.

My work is defined by precision and personalization. I do not follow trends blindly—every face requires its own approach. That level of customization is what creates consistency in high-level results.

Inspiration comes from global movement—fashion, culture, architecture, and real human features. I am particularly drawn to understated beauty and the discipline of enhancing without overpowering.

My experience extends beyond New York Fashion Week. I have worked with MTV talent, collaborated closely alongside my husband, Prof. Mudassar Minhas, on multiple creative and educational projects, and contributed to numerous magazine features throughout my career. These experiences have shaped my ability to adapt across different platforms—from high-energy media environments to editorial settings—while maintaining a consistent standard of precision and excellence. Each opportunity reinforced my ability to deliver under pressure, stay creatively aligned, and uphold a refined vision across diverse industries.

The foundation of any exceptional look is structure. Balance, proportion, and clean execution define the outcome. It is never about changing a face—it is about elevating it with intention.

My relationship with clients is built on trust and guidance. I listen carefully, analyze thoroughly, and then educate. The process is collaborative, but always guided by expertise.

I am inspired by global creatives who understand restraint—those who combine innovation with elegance. European beauty philosophies, particularly Italian, have influenced my approach through their focus on quality, structure, and timeless results.

As a creative director, I operate with clarity and alignment. Every element—hair, makeup, styling, lighting—must serve the same vision. Preparation, direction, and execution are what transform ideas into elevated results.

 Challenges are inevitable, especially in high-level environments. I approach them with composure and precision—adapting quickly while protecting the integrity of the vision. Experience allows me to remain solution-driven at all times.

My advice is to master fundamentals before seeking recognition. Discipline, repetition, and patience build true confidence. Artistry is not rushed—it is developed.

NYC Lash Elite is one of my most significant creations. It is not positioned as a traditional event—it is a curated platform where artistry, education, and recognition exist at a higher standard. It reflects the future of the industry.

I am currently expanding NYC Lash Elite 2027 with a stronger global vision—introducing advanced masterclasses, international collaborations, and elevated educational experiences. The goal is to redefine standards and create long-term impact within the beauty industry.

Every look I create is intentional. It is about narrative—how structure frames the face, how details enhance expression, and how the final result communicates without excess. True beauty is always controlled, never accidental.
