LOOKINICH, please tell our readers a bit about yourself.

My name is LOOKINICH. I was born in Ukraine, but due to the war, I had to relocate to the United States. Today I live in Chicago. My creative path is a blend of fashion, music, and photography. I am an artist and a model, and for me, every photo shoot is not just a frame — it’s a story to live through.

How did your creative journey and relationship with photography begin?

Since childhood, my life has been deeply connected to creativity in all its forms. Music was my gateway into the world of fashion. I started working with cameras at an early age, and through the lens, I learned to see deeper and feel more.

What inspired you to enter the world of modeling and visual storytelling?

It was a very personal challenge. As a child, I struggled with being overweight and had many insecurities. I dreamed of becoming the best version of myself. That desire became the inner engine that drove me forward. And now, I hope I can be an inspiration for others.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Tell us about your creative process when planning a photo shoot.

The photo shoot you see in this issue is the result of a close collaboration with the talented photographer @photo_milaaa. We’ve worked together on many projects before. This time, we decided to reinterpret the image of the toreador — to present it in a modern, bold, and aesthetic way. It’s a conversation between generations through the lens.

What makes your work stand out in the fashion world?

Synergy. With @photo_milaaa, we don’t just take photos — we create art. Everything begins with an idea fueled by emotion and inspiration. We’re not chasing trends. We’re crafting moods that linger, images that stay with the viewer.

Where do you draw inspiration for your shoots?

From life itself. The best ideas come from observing the world. People, colors, gestures, even silence — everything has a story. Sometimes the most powerful inspiration comes when you put down your phone and truly look around. The real world is vibrant, emotional, and endlessly inspiring.

What’s been the most unforgettable moment in your career so far?

Definitely the shoot for my music video “Vidpusty” (“Let Go”). We filmed it in the sky, in a hot air balloon. It was thrilling, intense, and beautiful. I’ll never forget the feeling of floating above the world, with only the wind and music around me.

In your opinion, what makes a photo truly extraordinary?

When it takes you beyond your comfort zone. I admire photographers who embrace challenges — that’s where the magic happens. The most impactful images are often born from the most daring moments.

How do you stay balanced between personal expression and the concept during a shoot?

For me, the key is remembering that everyone on set is united by one goal to create something meaningful and timeless. That realization keeps me grounded, focused, and emotionally connected to the process.

What has been your most difficult modeling challenge to date?

One of the toughest shoots I’ve ever done was in freezing water. It lasted over six hours. It pushed me to my limits and even led to a case of pneumonia. But the result exceeded all expectations. Sometimes, art demands sacrifice.

What advice would you give to aspiring models?

Be yourself. Let the camera speak to you. Don’t imitate others — your authenticity is your power. Developing your own voice is what makes you unforgettable.

What’s the story behind the photographs featured in this issue?

This shoot was a truly special experience. Together with @photo_milaaa, we reimagined the image of the toreador — made it bold, modern, and emotionally charged. I believe we succeeded in creating something fresh and powerful.
